How To get rid of shoulder pain when you lift

11/27/2017

I know that shoulder pain can be a real nightmare, especially for those who lift weights and are trying to achieve a certain goal. This annoying and niggling injury can really affect a lot of your exercises and restrict your progress.

Having gone through this exact same thing this year I know how frustrating it can be. In the video below I share with you the most effective rehab strategy I used to improve my own shoulder function and show you how to integrate into your workouts to help you get back to training at full tilt again.

I hope you enjoy the video.
If you would like any further help with shoulder pain or any other type of injury, please get in touch via the contact page as I would be more than happy to help.

Please feel free to leave a comment as I would love to know what you thought of the video and how you got on with this exercise technique.

Hi Darren,
Thank you for this video, I’ve just watched it, I spotted it a few weeks ago and scrolled through to find it again after a recent injury. I started weight training about 7 months ago and every now and again got a niggling pain in my right shoulder mainly when training shoulders and chest. The pain got more frequent up until 3 weeks ago when it got quite bad to the point I couldn’t sleep on it comfortable of pick up my 2 year old son very easily. I’ve had 3 weeks off training anything other than legs(& cardio) at the gym but do use have a toddler and a job using my arms a lot. I’m going to try this exercise to get me back into training, how often do you recommend doing it and should I wait until I’m completely pain/ache free to start?
Thank you again, I found your video very interesting & helpful, Sam.
