MIXED SESSION (16YRS +) 7AM TUESDAY & THURSDAY MORNINGS

This is for those of you who are not huge fans of cardio and prefer weight training.

 Unlike our other more functional fitness based group sessions (where cardio is a major factor). The Strength Club is all about the weights. It is designed specifically to help you improve your strength & power, to build lean muscle and to help you improve your overall body composition (reduce fat & build lean muscle mass)
The benefits of strength training are well known by now but include…

  • Improved functional capacity
  • Reduces signs of ageing
  • Improved bone mineral density and bone health
  • Increased muscle mass and lean body tissue
  • Reduces body fat mass
  • Improves pain tolerance and injury recovery​
On the program you will be coached through the fundamentals of good lifting technique in the basic powerlifting elements of the squat, bench press and deadlift as well as more advanced power based movements of the clean and jerk and the snatch found in olympic lifting.
So think powerlifting, Olympic weight lifting and bodybuilding all rolled up into a nice neat well-coached package, and you wont be far wrong. 

ALL YOU HAVE TO IS TURN UP, follow the program AND watch your strength increase, your body fat drop and muscle go up week by week
