Finally the message is out there and there seems to be a real shift towards more and more ladies ditching the cadio machines and heading more towards lifting weights. The science has been there for many, many years but only now it seems to be starting to enter the main stream and more and more ladies are seeing the benefits of lifting weights. 

SO WHAT CAN WEIGHT TRAINING DO FOR YOU?

Well it has a number of positive benefits including:


  • Improves and preserves bone density (especially around menopause)
  • Helps target fat loss
  • Helps you improve lean body mass which gives your body a more aesthetic appearance and helps burn more calories while at rest
  • ​Helps with mental focus and reduces deterioration in brain function
  • Helps you move better and get rid of aches and pains

  • ​Helps with performance of other activities like running, cycling and sports
This program is all about introducing you to the basics of weight/resistance training at your own pace. Its not about me beasting you every week! Instead the focus is on learning fundamental movements like the squat, dead lift, overhead  press and kettle bell swing. We will also teach you how to perform the perfect press up plus a host of other body-weight exercises that will help you improve your overall strength and function.
